Who Am I ?

Me : Who am I ?

Voice : A-ha. So, you have moved into the league of big questions now.

Me : Are you gonna answer this ?

Voice : To find the answer to 'Who am I’ - ask yourself  'Where are you' ?

Me : You can never give me a straight answer, can you ?

Voice : When you come to a point when you can reply to that question honestly and say - 'I am in the NOW’ - you will find the answer. Answers to all questions lie here.

But, your questions itself have been pulling you out of the NOW. That is the nature of questioning. Because when you ask, the expectation of an answer has already created a moment of a probable future, and you drift away from the Present.

Me : Oh

Voice : This oscillation of your mind between the past and future drifts you into a state where you create more bondage and suffering. You feel worn down from the bindings of conceptual past and future and this drifting causes the emergence of endless enquiry, questions and doubts.

When you drown yourself in the precious stillness of the Present, you find your honest state of Being. Your identity with your ownself loosens up and so does all that comes with it. There is nothing to know; only Experience.

Those who know and live this, are living in True Freedom.

And, don’t worry thinking about God when you are in the eternal NOW, because when you are in the NOW, God is already present.

  1. I completely agree with the voice because if you keep on asking him questions you are trying to not focus in the present but past and future. As he says live in the beautiful NOW to know Who I Am.
