Suffering

Me : Why is there so much suffering in the world ?

Voice : Because Love isn't being used as the remedy.

Me : I know people who live their lives praying to their Lord, chanting his name, reading holy books, doing no harm to others, visiting sacred places and even remembering him as often as they can - I see suffering in their lives ! Why does suffering have to be for them ?

Voice : No, it doesn't have to be that way.

Me : So if I believe in God and daily prayers to the lord are a part of my life - is God testing me if i face hardships ?

Voice : God does not 'test'. Because He is All-knowing. If He already 'knows', what purpose will any test serve ? And thats not His job anyway.
God is Love Incarnate. God is nothing but embodiment of Love. Love and God mean the same. Where there is love, there is God. If you feel divine love, you experience God.
The suffering exists because one comes in his own way and God hasn't got anything to do with it.

Me : What do you mean by saying 'coming in your own way' ?

Voice : When I say 'coming in your own way', I mean that people tend to take decisions or do things with reasons to believe it will find them happiness. But, instead if you surrendered to His Will and let him lead you, things would get a lot easier to find happiness. Wouldn't God have a better view of things that you might not - simply by the virtue of being God ?? His Path is often the one you looking to avoid taking.

Me : So thats how we suffer and go through the same challenges until we are able to transcend it ? We keep taking the road we think is right for us, but its just another easy way out.

Voice : I like to push you gently towards the best route that will take you to the destination. But, I can't force your choices. Love and coercion cannot go together.
