Me : But why bring me to this point in the first place ?
Voice : There is a deep purpose behind it.
Me : I bet there is !
I mean …first you bring these so-called coincidences to appear, then you entice me with so-called opportunities, later I dream about it and now I have a desire that I never had or asked for. And just when I begin to feel good about it and work towards fulfilling it - you make roadblocks appear from nowhere and now I am back to where I started - only feeling worse than before !
Why show me dreams, opportunities and lure me ? I did not ask for it.
If you don’t want me to have something, you don’t have to open any doors at all for me ! Now, I see myself with more struggles and dejections for things I never asked you for.
Voice : Are you upset with the struggles or with the desires surfacing?
Me : If you tackled my desire in the first place or made it disappear, I wudn't have had to deal with it's struggle for fulfilment !
Voice : But how will you know the greatest lesson I want to teach you ?
Me : Oh I know that - to not want anything !!
Voice : Higher than that..
Me : What is that ?
Voice : To realise that I am found not in the height of your struggle but in the depth of your surrender.
That is where God endlessly waits for all.
