Little Bagful of Karmas

Me - If all is an illusion and everything is a dream, why the hell am I supposed to do anything?  Why do I have to bother working hard for a living when in the end it has no value? 

Voice - Oh it has great value!

Me - Value ? You keep saying nothing is real except God !

Voice - That is correct.

Me - So I continue to pretend ? Like go to work, handle my family, etc ? 

Voice - You give everything in your life your best effort. 

Me - Why not go to the mountains and take it easy instead ? 

Voice - Let me help you understand this …

Me - Damn well need to understand this very clearly.

Voice - Lets say I give both you and your friend a million rupees. Now your friend is asked to be in the city and you are sent to the a cave in the remote Himalayas. Both of you have the task to ‘spend' ( not throw away ) that money as quick as possible. Who do you think would be able to do this the quickest ? 

Me - Thats easy. The guy in the city will have an obvious advantage than I would. Where would I get to spend anything in the middle of nowhere with nobody around ?? Whats your point ? 

Voice - Now imagine the money to be nothing but bagful of karmas. So, when you escape from the world, you carry the load of your karmas and instead of working them out, you create added biddings that only accumulate over lifetimes. While, your friend by living in the world, doing his duties is getting closer to real freedom…freedom from his karmas. 

So living in the world and working through Maya, you move closer to your goal. 

Me : That is hard work !

Voice : It takes great courage to live through love with whatever is offered to you in this life. 

Me - Karmas ! So its all about karmas !

Voice - You thought the goal of your actions was to be successful, wealthy, intelligent, famous, respected or even spiritual ?? None of those outcomes matter to the slightest. You work to shed your karmic baggage. You progress is defined by your karmic balance and your life in this world is the means to achieve this.       

Me - Oh 

Voice - Your very bondage is the means to eternal freedom. Observe how many times you have resisted challenges in your life and how many times you have embraced them ?  

Me - What if I want to be a yogi ? 

Voice - You could be one.

Me - Ok, whats the catch ? 

Voice - You may choose to be a yogi and even attain samadhi. The state of samadhi is not the final destination of union with God. You would achieve to ‘halt your life’ through this experience but once you rerun from that state of samadhi, your karmas will catch up with you and you start from where you left. Why would you want to slow down your path to God ? 

Path to God is only love which must be lived through your thoughts, words and action. And  Karmas will then take care of themselves. 

Me :

   Work with love ever and always 

Oh these the corporate meetings, 

How many karmas have I shed today ? "

Voice : I love everything you do.       

Me - Karmas ! Karmas ! I am gonna think only karmas ! Btw, how many big karmas do I wipe out in a corporate presentation ?? Or do I shed much more while taking care of my mother-in-law ? I am looking to score big here !! 

Voice - Ha Ha. Love will be your guiding light.     

Finding God Within

Voice : Having a quiet time ? 

Me : I like silence 

Voice : What do you find in silence ? 

Me : God. 

Voice : Hmm

Me : I feel God is within me. 

Voice : That is true. But do you feel it ? 

Me : Yes. I am talking to Him right now !

Voice : This is important what I am going to tell you. Its is true that God found within. You have always heard this. Many say implying that its all about only acknowledging the God within himself. But, really its about continual experience of acknowledging, seeing and believing that God is within all the people you come across. When that conviction is attained, you can say that you feel God is within you. 

How can you only find Him within you and ‘miss’ seeing Him in others ? When you see God inside everyone, thats when you can truly say you found God within you. That is the real meaning of finding God within…finding Him in everyone and everything. 

Me : So, " To find God within you, find God in that ass*@# " .. Aren’t you really enjoying all this ? How funny is this for you ?  

Voice : Ha Ha. Not funnier than this entire creation.    

Visiting My Shrine

Me :  I feel glad to have come to your Shrine.  

Voice : Always nice to have you remember Me.

Me :  I was in the middle of many things. I also had to walk my dog but I know I must prioritise my visit to your Shrine and so here I am !

Voice : To make me happy ?  

Me : Yes 

Voice : Forgive me, but I must know how you know it would it make me more happy when you leave one Shrine for another ? 

Me : Leave which shrine ?? I only come to You. 

Voice : It was time to walk your dog today evening, and you skipped that to pay your respects to My Tomb where I reside but, my dear I reside no less in your dog. Your dog looks forward to his walk and to deny him that joy is to deny Me. My shrine is no less in anyone. I am in each heart. How can I be only accessed only from one place and not another ?  You have only left one shrine to come to another.

Find My Shrine in every being you come across. Bow down to it like you may bow down at My tomb and it will make me very happy !!

The Return of the Saviour 

 "It's that moment, that time, 

When the last hope crashes 

When you lay down defeated,

Losing all but your own self  

Everything around has fallen, 

You survive, because you must 

You hold on, because you should, 

Crawling closer to endless pain.  

With the sky tearing apart, 

The ground breaking beneath 

Where is Love of my heart, 

To rescue me ? 

And then, in a magical moment, 

Comes the Messiah, The Saviour 

The Lord of Lords, the One in All,

To breathe life in your soul. 

  

Crestfallen and helpless,

With darkness and despair 

He comes like the rising Sun, 

In a flight of Light and Mercy  

He descends for his Love, 

He lifts you in His arms  

When time becomes agony,

He says - Come Unto Me." 

Mental Anguish

Voice : What are you thinking ?

Me : Well, I have a friend who has been trying to overcome her problem of hypertension, anxiety and fears. She cracks up all of a sudden and her health gives in. She is a lovely person, has a good heart and believes in divinity.

Voice :  Hmm…

Me : She has begun exercising a little, eating right and works really hard on facing her fears and fighting anxiety. How does she work hard on being less anxious ?

Voice : By ‘not' working on being less anxious.

Me : Do always have to talk like this ??

Voice : Sorry to sound this way. Let me explain this more clearly. Imagine a completely dark room. Now, if you want to get rid of the darkness, how will you do it ?

Me : By bringing in some light.

Voice : And would it be possible to remove darkness without bringing in any light ? Try to think hard and tell me if you can fight it any other way ?

Me : Its impossible to eliminate darkness any other way. It can’t be fought with and it can’t go away by itself no matter what I do or how hard I try. The darkness will always remain unless I bring in some form of light.

Voice : This is the point. People have being doing the same with their lives. Even those people who know of Higher Power have struggled and continue to struggle with this. The struggle exists because of the reverse way of dealing with things. The focus is on the darkness to eliminate it. How can weakness disappear if you focus on it to disappear ?

If you focus on Divinity and make this your only goal - you will hold the power of the strongest force in the Universe - Love. Where there is love, there is no fear, no anxiety, no weakness.

All weaknesses dissipate on its own when the focus in not on the shortcomings but on Divinity. Everything melts in the ocean of love. Nothing is more powerful than love. There is only one solution and that is Divine Love. It has unparalleled power and majesty. No darkness can remain in this pure light of divinity.

Me : So, if I have this light...

Voice : You ‘are' the light.

Me : And how does one become alive in the purity of this magical force of love ?

Voice : By thinking of the Divine constantly. Unfortunately, the thoughts, words and deeds of most people are immersed in everything but the Divine. There is worry, anxiousness, bitterness, grudges, hatred, jealousy, distrust and disharmony. How can this ever give one peace, joy and love ? You bring this upon yourself in your own ways.

The funny part is that you know how to work this but the grip of falseness has got stranglehold of you and you seemed to be ever bound and create mental anguish which manifest into physical symptoms of suffering.

Me : So just keep Divine thoughts and it will all go away ?

Voice  : Yes, its that simple.

I thought of keeping it very simple so people can alleviate themselves easily and focus more on God, and Divinity is kept within reach of every living being.
But, because its so simple - the very simplicity has gone against it. People can’t seem to accept that its so easy and simple to connect to the Divine. Therefore, with lifetimes of conditioned thinking, they are in quest to seek various ways and methods to make their life happier and they fall short. 

Even a small child holds this remedy in his hands.  

I think I am simple. Do I seem complicated to you ?

Me : Well..you seem to contradict my thinking most of the time. But, with you I have realised that things are not that unattainable, honestly. You are pretty..simple...yeah. No intellectualising works with me.  

When I see my mind getting lost and chaotic, I often tell myself, 'Its a simple math, Somit. How many hours within 24 hours have you thought about world affairs and how much time have you thought of God ? If the math is in favour of worldly distractions - you have created that result and there is no point in complaining. If you want love, peace and Divinity, then that maths need to be reworked. Simple.

Voice : Yes, and I assure you its impossible for this approach to fail. A troubled mind and troubled emotional state needs to be fed increased dosages of Divinity in ways of remembrance, chanting, mediation, silence and gratitude. I have made a fool-proof system that won’t fail anyone who makes a choice to seek the spiritual treasure. This means you must always make time for it and seek to increase that time. 

Take the name of God when you peeling a potato, making tea, walking in the garden, having a shower, driving, cleaning your house, watering your plants, waiting for a taxi, running on a treadmill, eating in a restaurant, waiting for the elevator, walking to pick up groceries, lying in bed, shopping, waiting for someone, sitting on the couch, serving a meal, combing your hair...

Me : Ha ha ... and more time if I get my phone and TV out the way for most part of the day !         

Voice : You can live in the world but to enjoy everything without being slave to possessions, ambition and wants - you must think of Divinity more. No fears, anxiety, tension, sadness, grief, hatred, anger, attachment, insecurities, jealousy, lust, remorse, pride, then can ever grip you in spite of living in the world.

So, what will you tell your friend, now ?

Me : I'll tell her  - ' Let see your maths. '

....And if you are suffering, its only your fault !

Desires of Higher Ideals

Me : Thanks for bringing me back, again. 

Voice : I am always around. 

Me : I know why you had to do it. The injury was the only way and surprisingly I am not feeling unhappy - even though I was at the peak of my physical conditioning, even though I now face a possible abandonment of my expedition and months of hard work going down the drain....

Voice : I am very pleased to know you have remained positive. 

Me : I was lost and I didn't realise I was fuelling such a deep desire that I was loosing myself ! I was excited and my mind was fixed on this goal. That was all I was thinking. I thought it was great to lead an inspirational life and I knew I could do it. My thoughts, words and deeds lived for this dream and I thought that climb was just a harmless passionate pursuit. 

Voice : And nothing wrong with that. However, would you care to be enthusiastic about it instead of passionate ?

Me : Whats the difference ? 

Voice : You approach the same goal with equipoise and let that occupy a 'secondary' spot in the head. Its very much there - but not in the forefront but at the back of your mind.  

Me : Why ? 

Voice : Cause the danger of attachment doesn't come in. 

Me : But, don't you have to work towards it ?

Voice : Here is the subtle difference - instead of working towards 'it'...work towards 'YOU'

Me : Please explain..

Voice : In order to climb the mountain on the outside, you climb the mountain inside. Its not the external world that must lure you, its the attention to the inner world that brings you the summit. Focusing on something 'out there' easily brings anxiety, agitation, fear of failure, discontentment, pride, restlessness, despair and attachment. 
Its great to feel you can climb any mountain and you can, but do it with a difference. Climb the way it must be climbed with peace, serenity, stillness, merger, detachment, humility and importantly with submission to the Higher Will.           
   
Me : But isn't it normal and nobel to have a desire to do something that is inspirational and uplifting for the human spirit ?

Voice : Yes, by letting it happen naturally in your life like its just another chapter.  
There is nothing wrong feeling happy by wanting to do things, having certain things and becoming someone. You may not realise it, but soon you spend all your time nurturing your desires and thats when fail to be in the present. and I have to pull you back again to remind you to unburden yourself.

Under the garb of nobility, inspiration, passion, you have begin to dissipate your precious energy. Are you not inspirational right now ? 

Me : Not sure. 

Voice : One of the most inspirational things you can do it able to focus on Divinity with all the chaos around you. You know that everything around you is ephemeral and yet you stay in the falseness without running away. You have been struggling to stay on the Path of Divinity with all its challenges but you dont give up. You battle temptations on daily basis. You have some so far from where you started - this is inspirational existence. 

Walk into your past and you will realise, you never really lived with desires for any of the things you have now like a beautiful home, adorable daughter, great spouse, best of health and fitness, flowing abundance and prefect career ? You wanted to be a wanderer in the Himalayas with nothing.  

Me : Hmm….you are right. I didn’t actively pursue anything at all and it all seemed to have happened like accidents! 

Voice : And now what happened with the other desires that you actively fuelled and harboured ? 

Me : Damn you are right….nothing of that happened for some silly reasons or other. How is that ? 

Voice : Desires, Wants, Aspirations  … thats the one thing that can bring an unfulfilled existence. 

Me : And when I have you - I should be happy to know I don’t have anything more to desire !

Voice : Don't even desire Me. Remember that. Desire NOTHING. 

Let things happen. When you are in the moment - you permit Me to bring you goodies. 
But your desires keep you away from being in the NOW. When you hold desires, you dwell into the future. 
You may think that dwelling in the future will help you manifest your desire, but the manifestation happens in the present moment. 

Me : Hmm..

Voice : Thats how you been 'accidentally' shaping your life. Why do you see a need to create and harbour more desires  ?

Me : Cause I though it would be inspirational to achieve that feat in the mountains. 

Voice : Thats very good but its still a desire. It doesn’t keep your mind empty. 
You had thoughts about failing and that brought you anxiety. And more your thought about it, the more you lived in the future and less with Divinity - in the Now. 

Try not to be mistaken by analysing desire as good, noble, bad, inspirational or evil - they are all desires and have the same result in the head. 

Me : I think I am just gonna go about leading a simple life and let things happen…cause really nothing is by chance. The trick is to be in the present, want nothing and revel in joy of my being as I am, where I am and how I am. 

Voice : You can still climb that peak...but just about 'accidentally'.

Me : You have given me some exceptional gifts like will power, determination, discipline, resilience, endurance and balance of heart and mind - its perfect to use them to scale high mountains and achieve the impossible. What do you expect me to do with these strengths, now ?

Voice : Your strengths will be more needed, than you know.

Me : And just how and where ? 

Voice : At around 29,000 feet, Mount Everest is the highest point on earth. Few people can make it there. 
Even fewer can make it to a place higher than the summit of Everest. I AM at that height !
It will test your courage, tenacity, will power and demand mental toughness and unmatched conviction and here is where you will need all those strengths that I have given you. 

The point is - which climb are you focused on ? 

Real Surrender

Me : How do I Surrender to Divinity ?

Voice : Real Surrender is when you know you have nothing to Surrender.

Me : Huh ?

Voice : How or what would you like to surrender ?

Me : How about my strengths and weaknesses ?

Voice : They are already mine. I have planted them. All your attributes are flawlessly sculpted by Me alone.

Me : What about surrendering the results of my actions ?  We speak about this often.

Voice : When your destiny is already carved out, the fate of all your actions already lie with me.

Me : What about offering care of my children, my family to you ?

Voice : You believe they are yours ?

Me : Great God ! Is there anything to surrender ? Can I surrender to you my very life ?

Voice : You think your life is yours ? Your body, your mind, your very breath is Mine. You possess nothing.

You feel you need to surrender something, because of your strong sense of connection to the falsity of your existence.

Because you have a feeling that something belongs to you, because you believe that something is yours or someone is yours, you think you can surrender it.

If you had the conviction that ALL is ALREADY with the Divine, then what can you really hope to surrender ?
The very attempt to offer or surrender anything to Divinity is having a belief you have something that belongs to you.
This is from the mistaken identity of oneself and strong belief of ‘having’.

When the conviction rises to understanding and knowing nothing is yours, including your very breath and this life you live - that is when you will know that there is nothing to surrender.

Me : Now that nothing is mine including Myself, I don't suppose I can take credit of running 42 kms in 190 minutes last weekend ?

Voice : You think you doing the running ?

Purpose in Life

Me : I want to find my purpose in life. I feel purposeless. Why do I feel this ?  

Voice : You feel purposeless ?

Me : Yes.

Voice : Great! You are so fortunate.

Me : To be purposeless ?? Hello ??

Voice : I know. Its always been advocated to find your purpose...to live for something...to find meaning in a cause and allow that to be your goal...

Me : Right!

Voice : But all that is to eventually seek fulfilment. You are restless because you feel a void inside. One looks to fill that space by finding a purpose in life which is natural and alright. No matter how noble, large or small your purpose may be, it will always fall short of what you really need. A life closest to Divinity is free of any purpose.

Me : So I must have no cause, aim, purpose or goal ?

Voice : Understand the depth of why you feel you need to..

Me : Why ?

Voice : Because you have a strong sense of doership. You fell you are the reason for all that is in your life, all that happens and all that will happen.

One of the most important steps to spirituality, is apparently doing nothing and yet accomplishing everything. You could do things and you will continue to do it like everything depended on it - but relinquishing all controls.

Me : How do I control anything ?

Voice : You don't. You never did. You never will.

Me : Oh

Voice : The very desire 'to find a purpose' itself is the assertion of the false self. Its just another trap to get entangled in the falseness of your existence.

Note this example. Imagine yourself to be a log of wood on a flowing river. The log has no idea of the  length of its ride, the flow, the raging rapids nor the final destination. During its ride, the log flows through innumerable hostile rapids and raging currents, long stretches of calm waters, gets thrown on the banks, and gets washed down into the river again, drifts through the valleys and forests, before merging with the ocean.

The log represents you, the river is your life, the rapids are your challenges, the shorelines are your distractions, the calm waters is the divine calling and the ocean is Self Realization.

It would matter little to the log to have a purpose or not, since the course of the river is pre-determined. The goal would always be the Ocean.  
  
Me : So, would I be doing good progress to stay purposeless ?

Voice : If you to feel very fulfilled and yet have no purpose in life, I think you can be pleased with that.

Me : So the purpose is 'not to have a purpose.'

Voice : Haha....There you go again..Doership is imbedded deep in your consciousness. Its not necessary to be in the space of 'have' or 'not have' or 'do' or 'not do'.

Try to ...... Just Be.

Me : Just Be ? Uh..ok.

Voice : The Ocean will find you....and it wouldn't matter if you are a swimmer or not.



        

Diets

Me : What's your take on vegan diets, sattvic food, vegetarianism ?

Voice : Nothing wrong with having food that nourishes us.

Me : So you recommend I follow a vegetarian or a vegan diet ?

Voice : Well, my taste buds work differently.  I assume you want to know if these diets will nourish you with health and wellbeing ?

Me : Yes..

Voice : Have you tried a diet of only slimmed anxiety, beautiful toasted thoughts, taste of divine breath, tossed up positivity, garnished with kindness for a worry-free menu ?

Me : Ha ha. I am taking about food here.

Voice : I am on the same subject.

Me : How ? Pls serve me !

Voice  : Everything is about what thoughts you hold in your head. The only diet you need is with your thinking. No amount of watching your food intake will make a difference if you are primary disposed to negative thinking or worrisome mind. Thats the reason you sometimes you can come across people who tend to have health problems in spite of the 'healthy diets'.

Similarly, a positive man predisposed to divine thoughts can eat the most unhygienic and unrecommended food and yet he will have the best of health !

Its simple..what are you thinking when you eat is everything. Good thoughts will turn whatever you eat into good food. Toxic thoughts will turn the most healthy food into poison for your body.

We have to move more our focus from the Gross to the Subtle and let our mind be well planted on the the Divine. When your mind is on Divinity, the result is also Divine. Wouldn't that be more convenient than spending so much energy and effort on eating food ?
    
The food that end up eating or having on your table is only as a result of your own energy. You have drawn that to you.

When we have someone who wants to loose weight, he often falls to a feeling of guilt while eating, if the food exceeds permissible calorie intake. The fat thinking brings the fat into his experience.

Similarly a vegan would be very 'cautious' while eating outside. But what happens to them here is very interesting. The mind unconsciously begins to focus on what he cannot eat. Eventually, when it comes to eating, the mind works up a fairly large 'to avoid list' and creates a very subtle energy of 'rejection' of food and this carries a risk of lowering the vibration.

Sure, you can choose what you want to eat, but you must understand that to change your life and stay healthy - your thoughts play the most important role. Not the other way around.

Me : What if I am invited to a party and served meals with meat and fatty desserts ?

Voice : I have always one message to offer - live with love. If the host has taken so much effort to invite you, make food and serve you a meal and if you reject it, the host would be disappointed. But if you eat the same food to ensure that the he is not dejected in the heart, then you have chosen to operate from the premise of love and anything you eat then, turns to nectar. Nothing is more powerful than love. Love has the magic to turn anything into purity.

Ask yourself, when it comes to your eating - are you in a state of 'rejection' or 'acceptance' most of the time ? The frequency of 'acceptance' itself will change your vibration and your health. Unconscious cultivation of a deep sense of judgement on food that is not good to eat - is by itself moving away from positivity, trust and equipoise.

Me : What about damaging effects of eating polluted food ?

Voice : In that case, the air you are breathing now should make it difficult for you to live with its pollution levels. Let the Divine take care of you and this is possible when you keep your mind on Divinity. You may choose your food, but don't let the food choices control you.

Eating is an activity at gross level. Allow yourself to move to higher planes. There is lot more going on there.

Your vibration itself will create the desires within you for certain kind of foods and your own vibration will play a role for what will end up on your table for the next meal. And it is your own vibration that will respond to unhygienic or unpalatable food. So, ask yourself if it is your mind that needs to go on a fast ?

Me : I am ordering a double cheese pizza with coke tonight !

Voice : Ha ha. Don't forget to say your prayers before you eat.    





 

Abundance

Me : So when people come to me asking how to bring more abundance in their life..what must I tell them ?

Voice : That the question itself drives away abundance.

Me : How ?

Voice : Abundance is a state of being. It comes without striving for it. The strive for it itself will push you away from it. A truly abundant man does not need anything. He knows wanting nothing is having everything. He nurses no coarse desires, he actively needs nothing, he lives simple, he is tuned in to his heart and treasures happiness.

Me : What about those books that tell you about manifesting and dreaming big  ?

Voice : Forgive Me but I don't read much. But I think you referring to manifesting your desires by thinking of it or giving it constant attention and energy ?

Me : Yes

Voice : Manifestation of your dreams is possible...like your dream home or dream car or dream job.

Me : How is it that for most people this doesn't work ?

Voice : Because when you 'want' anything, that is essentially from lack. Its only when you truly feel that you don't have something or need something that you feel the need to manifest it in your life. Constantly having your mind focused on what you don't have is the very same reason you will feel more lack of it in your life.

Me : And what about those who manifest and get what they always dreamt of ?

Voice : Here's when things go complicated. You want something in order to make you happy. So you being to give attention to that thing which you think will give you happiness. Now happiness is not some distant land or in a thing or in some time in the future. You can either spend all your life chasing happiness or live your life happily. It is a mistake to believe that happiness lies outside of you - this chase does not end in fulfilment and eventually the person is tired of life - surprisingly inspite of  having all that he desired. So he may have manifested many things in his life, but had to constantly pay a price for it - ironically that of his own happiness.
   
Me : So what do you recommend ? How do we find happiness ?
 
Voice : Let the happiness find you. There is no road to it. There is no chase for it. There no plan for it.
 
Me : Please come down to my level and explain ...

Voice : Haha. Okay. Let me try to be as simple as I can. Last thing I want to do is complicate an already complicated world.
Try this simple exercise. I will give you a few scenarios from the real world that happen to people. Imagine that you are held captive in a dark, small prison with no sunlight and no interaction with anyone for many years with no clue of your fate. Imagine, if one of your family members were in coma for years with neither death or life certain, imagine being an orphan child, imagine being born blind, imagine being the lone survivor of an earthquake, imagine being bankrupted with legal cases against you, imagine losing all your limbs in an accident, imagine having an incurable ailment with mounting medical bills....now how would you feel about your life right now ?

Me : Cant complain about my life at all ...

Voice : I must apologise for having you imagine the most difficult scenarios but you must understand you are always more fortunate than many others. The gratitude brings abundance. When you are in a state of gratitude, you are always in a natural state of thankfulness with no strong desire to want more because you know you have everything. This feeling of having everything is abundance. This state of abundance brings to you whatever you need to be happy.

Me : So shouldn't people dream of being rich ?

Voice : I would rather advise them to dream of being wealthy instead of being rich.

Me : Whats the difference ?

Voice : Big difference. When you you chase an occupation or work for monetary gain as the primary goal, you have let money, possessions and material prosperity be the focal point in your life and with time you may get rich. You judge your success in life by your material prosperity and would even convince yourself about it being the right way. You even unknowingly begin to 'pay' a price for this because the primary goal did not emerge from the intention of love. This is being rich.

Wealthy people on the other hand hate the idea to trade off their happiness. They follow their passion, their dreams and things that make them happy regardless of any material gain. Gradually, they end up drawing material gains in their life from what they do. They live the life they love and love what they do. This is their natural abundant state. They didn't plan this - life just happened to them. Money, fame or material possessions are just an inevitable outcome of the way they choose to live their lives. Its easier for these people to give back to the world, because they are reasonably detached to money. They work out of passion and love.

So you see, the 'rich' struggle with happiness because of the 'reverse way' of going about their lives.

Me : And what about all those affirmations, exercises and books on bringing wealth into your life ?

Voice : Like I said earlier, the very striving for abundance or wealth drives it away from us. Abundance is a matter of the heart. It is a constant natural state of being. Love in the heart brings gratitude and dispels fear while its the mind that actually created fears. Therefore, you will find that mental exercises fall short.  

Me : Now if I have friends and if one of them wants to be a DJ in Ibiza, one wants to open a tea shack in the mountains of Sangla valley, one wants to explore Mars, one wants to be the man on Everest without supplemental oxygen, one wants to research and write books on Satan and God, and the other wants to play music on the streets of Venice...would that be practical ?  

Voice : How practical is shutting the voice of your heart for the rest of your life ?

Me : Makes sense.

Voice : All evolution and growth came from unpractical people and countless irrational decisions. Heart must have the freedom of choice. This group of abundant people will bring the transformation that the world really needs. They are normal people but will be called rebels, as they won't fit into social systems, conditioned thinking and work structures. They will face uphill challenges, but lack of fear will quickly overcome them. Their expanded consciousness will inspire the next generation to use love and happiness as the driving motive of life.

Taking a Break

Me : I used to travel a lot. I backpacked to offbeat places, was driven by expeditions, explored hidden lands and took off on long trips many times in a year. Even though I feel much fitter, I don't see myself doing too much of that now ... how is this dwindling away ?

Voice : Why did you seek to travel ?

Me : Well...to take a break. Escape and explore. Find joy in a new experience..

Voice : But what if your life is a vacation ? What if you are holidaying everyday ?

Me : How ?

Voice : One many take a 'break' to escape from the 'grind'. One may need a vacation to beat the monotony of life or one may seek to travel to a distant land to experience tranquility....

For many years, you traveled because you were 'seeking'. You were always inclined to escape the environment outside of you because you struggled to fit in. You believed the serenity, peace and tranquility lay in those places. You were looking for stillness while moving in the rapids.

Then, came a time when you finally found an end to this search. The emptiness found fulfilment. The restlessness found peace. The questions brought answers. The wave of love brought stillness. The seeker was sought. There remained nothing inside you searching for newer experiences.

You had found path to Divine Love. Your life became a 'vacation', because you began to live in 'Freedom'. You were on a holiday from bondage, grind or feeling trapped or miserable.

Love brings freedom and joy inside. Gradually, the idea of a vacation or a break has stop serving the same feeling for you.    

What were you going to take a break from ? from inner peace ?
You have changed much in last few years and that is a good thing.    

Me : So I have become boring !    

Voice : Ha ha. Sometimes spiritually aware souls lead very boring lives on the outside, but full of enchantment and fulfilment on the inside which the world cannot see.  

Me : Now thats why I don't feel connected to the Himalayas as I used to ?  

Voice : Because you have finally found your Himalayas within.  

Energy of Mind and Heart

Voice : So how was your meeting ?

Me : Not Bad

Voice : Wasn't great ?

Me : I sensed so much negativity in that office the whole time I was there !

Voice : Hmm

Me : I mean if I just had to compare that office vibration to that of my house in the hills or my favourite climbing site - there is an incredible difference in the negativity and positivity. I am so sensitive to the energies that I can't even hold a conversation with some people. I know that energies of the people contribute to the positivity or negativity of the place. Do some people even know that they are radiating negative energy ?

Voice : Thats strange.. I am not aware about 'negative' energy.

Me : There you go again....

Voice : I think you referring to mental energy.

Me : Whats that ?

Voice : Now I am going to tell you what isn't written in the books. You speak of positive and negative energy. I don't see it that way.

When you feel disturbed and anxious with some people, you don't pick up negative energy - you pick up energy of an uncontrolled mind. Irrespective of what he is thinking, as long as he is engaged in continuous thinking, you will struggle to find yourself calm in his presence. They are people who strongly tilt towards using their mind over heart.

On the other hand, if you are with someone who is always using his heart, you will be at ease with him instantly. Never mind if he may be silly, spontaneous, random or even lack charisma, he will be loved by many. These set of people do things to please their inner being, are spontaneous, intuitive with little worry of the past or future. They have given room to develop their heart over their heads.

Its natural to feel good when you are around people who use their hearts to live life - they are actually tapping into the space of Love. Its is this Love which you often refer to as positive energy. Its simply a case of giving mind the place it is intended for.  

And its equally natural for people to feel restless with those people who are always thinking, who have such accelerated thinking that they can switch between past and future without a break. Sometimes, their own intelligence goes against them. Decisions are weighed in the mind, analysed and rationalised. The mind is the store house of doubts, reasonings, fear, inadequacy, insecurity, hallucinations and stubborn control. Its is this vibration that you refer to as negative energy. Its just a case of people living life using the mind over heart in their lives.

Every realised why you feel great with a puppy dog, adventurer, painter or a Saint ? Because at most times the heart is used over the mind.

Every thought why you feel anxious in a corporate office, conference hall or with a politician ? Because so much is focused using the mind, that the heart struggles to have its say.

This imbalance between the heart and mind is perhaps what you refer to as negative and positive energy.  

Me : So there isn't anything like negative energy. So if I sometimes feel restless with someone, its likely I am with someone who is pre-disposed to over-thinking.

Voice : And any kind of over-thinking is a mental activity that snubs the development of the heart. And life is found when you expand your heart, embrace the love inside, rejoice in freedom and find your true nature. Its tuned in to the eternal now and has no rationale or reasoning. You do what makes you happy in the moment and this happiness and love transforms others.
Too much effort is being made to develop the mind from the time you were born, went to school, college and your work life.

Me : Wouldn't the intellect come handy ?

Voice : How intelligent do you want to be ? I think you have enough to drive a car, use your phone, make a good cup of tea or even count cash on your own. What do you want from life ? If its Divinity what you want - then its only Love that must prevail. It must soak the mind completely at the threshold of Divinity. Has your intelligence brought you closer to me or the purity of your heart ?

Me : So using my head is a case of imbalance in my spirit ?

Voice : Use both but let your mind listen to your heart and not the other way around.

Did you use your head to recognise my Voice or your heart ? Did you use your head to choose climbing as a career when no one thought that was a career move, find your lovely partner aganist all odds, adopt a loving puppy when you had no one to look after her, buy a countryside home when you didn't have the money, call that friend to give advise out of the blue and save him, climb an impossible route when you were still injured, paint the wall with a beautiful sketch when you were running high fever ?

Me : I see your point..the most life changing decisions have been from my heart. If my mind had its way - I think I would have come up with many 'logical' and 'practical' reasons to never do all that ! In fact, the most 'impractical' thing I do is let your voice make those decisions completely against the grain of my thinking !    

Voice : Let me be your safety net. I know the way and the pitfalls. When you surrender, it means you actually only surrender your mind. Thats pretty much everything.


         

Love and God are Identical

Voice : So you think you are spiritually qualified and closer to God than many others ?

Me : Why are you saying that ?

Voice : Remember when you were with your friends today evening. There was this one person you were talking to about God..

Me : Yes, I remember. He said there is no such thing as God. And he also said people look for dependency outside and the ones who take no responsibility of their actions turn to this concept of God. He called it a big league bullshit ! What an idiot !

Voice : And what did you say to him ?

Me : Well, I just walked away.

Voice : Why ?

Me : I don't know what to talk to him. Its your Love that sustains us. You are the reason for everything, and here we have someone who thinks is the one behind all that happens to him and all that he has accomplished ! I am sorry but I have nothing in common to talk to him.

Voice : You could have spoken about what you do and about what he does for a living...

Me : What are you getting at  ?

Voice : Well, he is a wonderfully talented painter and his paintings attract buyers from all over the world. He is wealthy and is renowned for his extraordinary talent ...

Me : Talent that you gave him and he thinks its all him !

Voice : Yes, I am with him when he paints. In each work of art he creates, I am with him.

Me : I dont undertand. He doesn't even think you exist !

Voice : When he paints, he forgets everything. When he is immersed in the painting, he is neither in the past, nor the future. He is in the space of the eternal NOW where I reside. He is so joyful when he works, there is so much love in what he does, that he connects to Me instantly.

I am nothing but Love. Love and God are identical. Love is my only language, my only way to make and keep the connection.

God is embodiment of only Love. Not everyone is able to find so much Love in what they do, like this painter. The ones like him are closer to Me without them knowing about Me because they use this Love everyday. His extraordinary paintings are only a result of that Love. Love doesn't need a Form. Its needs a Heart.

If you could understand, these kind of people are closer to divinity without them knowing anything about God. Maybe, I think they don't need to.      

Me : Now this guy is closer to you than me ??

Voice : Hahaha. Funny part is everyone is equidistant from where I am. Everyone.

Btw, I know you were looking for a lovely spiritual painting in your room and I sent this painter to you hoping that you would engage in a little conversation and eventually with My help, he would have created a wonderful work of art that would have been so perfect for your house....

Me : Oh no.....

Voice : Don't worry. I am working on it.

Me : Judging people....that is so subtle, but so self-damaging.  

Voice : Open your heart to everyone. You never know who is carrying my goodies to you.
   

Weaknesses

Me : When people say we must offer our weakness to the Supreme Being - what does that exactly mean ? 

Voice : You tell me...

Me : I think it means we must just surrender our weakness to Divinity and not think about it. Is it ? 

Voice : Yes, but what does 'giving' your weakness really mean ? Does it go away ? Are you free from it ? 

Me : If that happened, we would be Saints in a day ! 

Voice : And that would be wonderful.  

Me : So please tell me...I have plenty of weak spots... lazy, shy, fear of public speaking, poor at maths....lots more

Voice : Everyone has something they 'choose' to call a weakness. Weakness is a term coined to call something that you are willingly harbouring and nurturing within you that actually prevents you from taking a massive jump in consciousness. 

You think I would be interested in your strengths ? Thats not what draws my attention. Its natural to play out your strengths.  

Me : Why would I or you be interested in any of these weaknesses ?  

Voice : Because, its your weakness that actually gives you strength. 

When you do something you thought you couldn't, when you explore abilities that though you are not born with, when you dive into the unknown, when you walk into your fears, when you willingly face all odds - thats when you are really 'giving' your weakness to the Supreme Being. Thats when you are able to really surrender the weakness, because you have walked into it with faith and love. 

Where there is love, there is no fear. 

Where there is no fear, there is faith.

Where there is faith, weakness cannot remain.

Your weaknesses is my favourite playground. Everytime, you play with it, I am actively giving My Love to you. This is when you are able to really give Me your weaknesses.  

Once, you transcend them - which I assure you that everyone can..you take a giant leap. Remember, you just need to take that step and help from the Universe will be with a hundred steps.  

     

It will always seem a better idea to walk right into your fears - with Love. This way we use the power of the most important force in the Universe - Love.  

About your strengths - I don't notice that too much. Give Love a chance to power whats holding you back !

Me : I am not sure if I am excited to have so many weaknesses, but I think I know what to do with them - They certainly not going under the carpet again.    

Voice : Never hesitate. Let Love flow in all that you do and know you are born only with strengths. Because weaknesses do not exist, unless you believe they do.
