Strength of Weakness

Voice : When you lost your baby Angel what did you feel ?

Me : Heart broken. 

Voice: Did it change anything within you ? 

Me : It got me to question life, death and time I have here. I experienced grief for the first time in my life. 

Voice : Did grief teach you anything ?

Me : Empathy.

Grief softened something in me. I now find myself holding space for those who live with the absence of someone they love. I expected people to accept their loss quickly and return to normal, as though loss were merely an event to process and move past. I labeled that a spiritual way of being.  

Grief taught me that presence matters more than explanation. Sometimes empathy is not about answers, but about sitting beside someone in the silence of their loss.

Looking back, I see that as apathy and arrogance often disguised as spiritual understanding. 

    

Voice : Just the way you learnt from your own grief, you will learn from your own personal experiences of living through experiences of many more qualities like greed, anger, pride, jealousy, lust. In your journey with me, I use your weakness for fortifying your spirit. I do not have the need to draw the virtuous and righteous to Me; they are merely definitions that hinge on morality and judgement. There lies more in the depth of the soul..unseen, hidden and camouflaged - a shadow of your own being. That is where the Light shines through. 

Me : Hmm 

Voice : This attachment to so called spiritual values lay foundations of religions and groups. You are unbounded in God’s Light. Your so called bag full of weakness will keep your ego in check and move you away from spiritual entitlement - a trap that grows in a community of spiritual seekers. 

 

I have your heart. I have all that I want.  

Me : Wow

Voice : The way you are able to use empathy to understand the other's grief, in the same way, your weaknesses will surface to teach you greater understanding and rise above judgements of right and wrong. You will be a rock for those who feel unworthy of God’s love because they have been deemed 'fallen’ or ‘condemned' in the eyes of the world. You will be strength and wisdom for those who are struggling with balance with darkness and light.   

Me : But what if I fall so far in my darkness ?

Voice : The fall has a divine purpose. It is in your raising that you receive My gift of inner strength. My love will never desert you. This conflict is important for you. 

But know, you may fall but never far enough from Me. 

Me : Hmm 

Voice : Your falls, your failure, your defeats is building the strength of true humility. Your heart can only be free of judgements and prejudices and truly go beyond vice and virtue or right and wrong when this Truth touches the core of your heart. How can you ever know the light within you without the help of darkness ? 

Me : Oh 

Voice : This path is not a spiritual quest for peace and righteousness nor a crusade to vanquish faults. It’s a journey to God. It will never be the way the world thinks. 

You will know from experience the frailties of human qualities, the vulnerabilities of a seeker, the dance of darkness and light. The towering height of your so called faults is a way of strength. Stay with Me in awareness and love. The conflict is keeping you close to Me. This is a gift.

What appears as another's advantage may be their greatest test and what appears as  your disadvantage may be your potent teacher. In time you will know that each one's journey is only a walk on one's own accumulated impressions. 

How can morality then have a place with Me ? Infinite Love cannot represent spiritual entitlement.

Me : Beautiful. So fall, rise, fall again, rise again..  

Voice : Until one day, you realise the lack of difference between both. 

And that My Love for you is above everything.
